Looking Up - An Honest Journey Through My Life

I've been in the lab putting the finishing touches on this new CD, and it has been an emotional and spiritual adventure. The subject matter of these songs has pushed some of the raw emotion out that I've been feeling over the last couple years. Personally and professionally I've had many twists and turns. I've grown as an artist, and a man.  I've done some cool community related music projects. I wrote and released a book on faith with a sound track. I went from being a single father, to falling madly in love, to becoming a husband. I traveled to Nicaragua for a mission trip. I've had tragedy, triumph, and transition.  I enjoy being transparent, and that equates to a real glimpse into my crazy life.

I pulled no punches on this CD, I talk the good the bad, and ugly in friends, family, so called fame and faith. The state of the music biz today, artists and their lyric/video content ignited something inside of me to do an album like Looking Up. I knew I had to step up my production and lyrics if I wanted to compete with a billion dollar sex, money, violence and fame, sales machine. I can honestly say when it comes to the subject matter, lyrics, wordplay, and overall production, even the cover, at the least people are going to take notice and honest dialogue will result.

I feel good really good about it, but I'll let the people decide how it stacks up.  Let's do this. August 2015 Looking Up the new CD.
